Get Involved: Example of our Services, Ongoing Opportunities and Resources
We have a range of activities and ongoing work throughout the WSI pathway in addition to these resources listed. If you want to know more about how we can support you please get in touch.
Sign up for Newsletter
The NPIC QCC wants to build a network of people working in digital pathology who care about quality.
Join us to find out about relevant news, webinars and events as well as opportunities to involved with research projects. If you want to share anything within our network sign up for our newsletter here: QCC Mailing List Form (typeform.com).
POUQA
A web-based Point-of-Use Quality Assurance (POUQA) tool for remote assessment of viewing conditions for reporting digital pathology slides. The test requires visual discrimination between colours derived from haematoxylin and eosin staining, with a perceptual difference of ±1 delta E (dE). The tool itself is free to use and can be found here: Point of Use QA | Point of Use Device Validation for Digital Pathology (leeds.ac.uk)
National Staining Survey
We know staining can induce colour variability, which results in digital variability when slides are converted to WSI. This survey will allow us to accurately describe and measure this variation nationally for the first time using our stain assessment slides (Tango slides) that will be posted via courier to you.
More information can be found here: National Stain Survey – National Pathology Imaging Co-operative (npic.ac.uk)
